Congrats to all of the students who tested at Shaddock MMA in Eldersburg, MD.
It felt great to put on the gi today and step onto the mats. I was impressed with the work everyone put in to prepare for the test. It was great to see everyone had passed. One of my students, Alexander Close, took the entire test, although he didn’t plan to, passed it and got promoted to brown belt! Great job brother!
Well deserved promotions all the way around. My students did a great job. They looked really good. Thanks for also taking the instructors to dinner after a 6 hour grueling test.

Special thanks to my brother, Christopher Lyles, for riding me down from PA and back home. My feet may be swollen and I’m in a lot of pain right now but that will go away a lot faster than the joy I feel in my heart being able to suit up and get back on the mats again. I love you guys and y’all mean the world to me. Oosu!
